GMC Jam 31: Liquid Bacon
Award-winning game made from scratch in just ten days.
In November, my brother and I participated in the 31st GMC Jam, wherein participants must create a computer game from scratch under time and game theme constraints. We were given ten days and three themes; of the themes, we chose "Chemical Reactions."
My brother was responsible for the programming, while I designed the entire game and its graphics, dialogue, sound effects, and small pieces of its programming. He and I won first place out of 26 different entries from around the world. Our game was titled "Liquid Bacon," and it was about the player's journey to combine "chemicals" until they found the right combination to produce the aforementioned beverage.
